Job Description:

Manufacturing company looking for an Architect or Engineer, with experience creating construction drawings using AutoCAD or equivalent software, and 3D modeling experience using SolidWorks / Autodesk Inventor. Experience in architectural 3D modelling is strongly preferred.

Responsibility:

• Model architectural trim products using SolidWorks
• Create 2D plans, elevations and details including wall sections, connection, and framing details
• Develop drawing submittals and revisions for customer approval
• Error proofing of drawings
• Communicate with tooling, QA, engineering and manufacturing, regarding new and revised prints
• Create 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing at supplier’s

Required Skills:

• Ability to create parts, assemblies, design tables and drawings in SolidWorks.
• Proficient in AutoCAD creating 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of sheet metal design.
• Detail-oriented, organized with the ability to handle multiple ongoing projects.
